Modern vinyl is one of the most versatile floors on the market: 100% waterproof, scratch-resistant, kid- and pet-proof, and convincing enough that most guests can't tell it from hardwood or stone. Mobile Floors & More stocks [luxury vinyl plank](/luxury-vinyl-plank), [luxury vinyl tile](/vinyl-floor-tiles), sheet vinyl, and natural linoleum for every room in your Tennessee & Texas home.

We buy directly from major vinyl manufacturers, which means manufacturer-level pricing and deep inventory - most jobs start within a week of your estimate.

The four kinds of vinyl - which one fits your room

"Vinyl flooring" actually covers four different products. We'll match the right one to your room during the in-home consultation.

  • Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) - looks like hardwood, 100% waterproof, best for whole homes
  • Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) - looks like stone or ceramic, grouted or ungrouted, best for kitchens and baths
  • Sheet vinyl - large rolls with seamless installation, best for laundry rooms and small baths
  • Natural linoleum - bacteriostatic, popular in healthcare settings and eco-conscious homes

Where vinyl outperforms hardwood and tile

Vinyl is the one floor you can put anywhere in the home with confidence. Hardwood swells when it gets wet - a real concern during a humid Arkansas summer or a slow leak. Tile cracks when something heavy drops. Carpet stains. Vinyl shrugs all of it off, and it's softer underfoot than tile, warmer than stone, and quieter than laminate - a difference many customers mention in their [reviews](/reviews).

It also installs over almost any subfloor - concrete slab, plywood, sometimes even existing vinyl or tile - which keeps demo costs down and project timelines short.

Professional installation

Vinyl looks simple to install, but the details that separate a great job from a sloppy one - flat subfloors, full-perimeter expansion gaps, custom-matched stair nosings, proper transition strips - all come down to craft. Our crews handle every step, including baseboard removal and reinstall, transitions, and disposal of your existing floor, as part of every [flooring installation](/flooring-installation) we run.

Vinyl Flooring - frequently asked questions

Yes - every LVP, LVT, and sheet vinyl we sell is 100% waterproof. You can mop it, spill on it, and install it in basements and bathrooms without a second thought.

LVP is waterproof; [laminate](/laminate-flooring) is not. LVP is also softer and quieter underfoot, while laminate is slightly more scratch-resistant on the surface. For most rooms, LVP wins.

Often, yes - if the grout lines aren't too deep and the tile is solidly bonded. We'll check during the in-home estimate and either install directly or skim-coat to level the surface first.

Quality LVP with a UV-protected wear layer holds its color for decades. Cheaper builder-grade vinyl in a south-facing room can fade within a few years, one reason we don't sell the bottom of the market.
